Well, not the performance art kind. Today the appraiser came to LBL and gave her seal of approval on the HUD required repairs! Check that off our list!
Also, the cabinets are in! Pictures will be posted later today. The big deal now is that LBL is now without a kitchen sink or a dishwasher. This takes some getting used to and now the house is covered in dirty dishes. Hopefully that will be cleared up on Katie & Rob's day off.
On the side of not so good news, we had to have the plumber out yesterday. The water heater was acting up, and by acting up we mean: not working, tripping the circuit breaker, and visibly arcing! Sounds exciting, but it really wasn't. Well, the plumber came out and found out that the water heater was leaking and had shorted out it's electronics. Nothing to do but put a new one in. The new one got installed and once again there is hot water.
Just a short one today, look for pictures soon!
