...during football season. For those of you who don't know, Saturday the 19th was the date the biggest rivalry game of the season for Texas Tech against UT in Austin. While the game may have been exhausting and frustrating, Rob managed to get a few things done in between watching the MSU/Notre Dame (ugh!) and U-dub/USC games. Congratulations to the Huskies; that was the one game Rob was completely satisfied with.Enough about football! Another step has been taken towards making the longish narrow space by the laundry room a kitchen. Rob installed knobs on all the doors and pulls on all the drawers! Hooray for Target having inexpensive pulls! It took a bit of improvising and Rob had to pull out the spade bits and hacksaw before the job was done. Nevertheless, it is done. 21 knobs and 7 pulls.
Also on the "we-might-have-a-sink-in-the-foreseeable-future" front, we've gotten in touch with Countertops of Amarillo and they should be calling soon to set up an appointment to come measure for quartz! Maybe this'll be done by the middle/end of October? Well, let's not be too optimistic. However, I do believe we will have the kitchen fully functional by Thanksgiving.
Those are very nice! And you did a good job! I'm eager to see your place again!
