...apparently. For FOUR hours! Outrageous! Anyway, besides talking about cabinets, like Katie had previously posted, we bought three interior doors, one exterior door, a circular saw, a shop vac, locks, joint compound, mesh tape, sand paper, various fasteners, and more that I cannot remember right now! It was absolutely exhausting! Joe and Rob held up alright, but Katie and Cinda were not impressed pleased with the amount of time spent in the store.
The largest purchase was new cabinets for the kitchen (thanks Mom & Dad)! While I don't currently have pictures of style in a format I can post, I will say that are very sleek and simple, and are maple in a medium stain. On top of those cabinets will go the winner of the quartz poll: Diana Pearl! Surprised? I am! Unfortunately, because the cabinets must be in before the measurements for the counters can be made and the fabrication time on everything, the kitchen is likely to be out of commission until November! Not the most exciting news, but it promises to be fabulous when completed.
Not a whole lot of actual work got done today, but demolition has commenced on the doors that are to be replaced. Look out for pictures, hopefully tomorrow!

For the record, I took pictures last night but I was apparently too sleep/cold med deprived to have them come out worth looking at. Also, I intended to post about the same thing entitled "Particle board, particle board..." but coherent sentences weren't coming by that point.
